Maddie: “It was amazing to be a part of the National Lived Experience Awards 2025 as one of the lived experience judges. I’ve met a lot of brave people throughout the process of scoring and choosing the most inspiring stories out of the nominees in my category. I’ve gained a lot more insight through the stories shared at this amazing event held at Cowlick Hall.

“It was a great experience, and I’d be truly honoured to do it all again. It was a great pleasure to be in this process with Charna, who did great on stage!

And finally, congratulations to all the finalists and our winners! Their stories were truly inspiring to listen to, and I hope the next generations can make great progress within the categories listed. And make even greater change and come up with bigger ideas. Nevertheless, you are all winners in my eyes.”
