Nomination Criteria

The National Lived Experience Awards recognise individuals who have accessed inpatient or residential support within mental health, learning disability or autism services nationwide. We can accept nominations from individuals who have been discharged from these services, as well as those still being supported.

Nominations must be for projects or achievements completed by individuals being supported/who have been supported by a mental health, learning disability or autism service.

We are particularly interested in hearing how the nomination has made a positive impact during or following a person’s time in inpatient or residential services. This could include personal recovery, learning new skills, supporting peers, creative achievements, community involvement, education, employment, advocacy or leadership.
