The judging for the 2017 Awards was undertaken by our Judging Panel supported by our team of Service User Judges. We had five finalists in each of our five main nomination categories. This year also saw the return of the live vote for the Service User Choice Award; all service users in the room were invited to vote for their favourite runner up in each category, all of which then went head to head in the live final.
Throughout the day, we were entertained with some fantastic musical performances from the Annesley Belles, the Ashworth Hospital Band and service users from Cygnet Hospital Bierley, the Broadland Clinic and Ravenswood House. There was also a well received comedy performance from the Edenfield Drama Group.
Congratulations to the winners, finalists and all who attended for helping make it such a special day. And an extra special huge thank you to the Service User Events Team for planning such a successful event and our comperes who hosted the day in style!
